St. Lawrence Registration 2013-2014

Registration for NEW families will begin on January 28th at 7:30 a.m. Additional forms are required for new families and will be available here at the end of the day on January 27th.

Dear Parents,
                                                                                                                                   
                Below you will find the St. Lawrence School Registration Form and Document of Enrollment Form for the 2013-2014 school year.  Please type all information on these forms on-line; print them out and return them along with the $100 enrollment fee per family to the school office by January 18, 2013.  Note there is a particular section for new and returning students entering preschool and another section for new and returning students entering KN – grade 8.
 Please register your students in the appropriate areas.

                Completion of the Registration Form and Document of Official Enrollment/Tuition Preference Plan is mandatory for official enrollment into the school.  It is imperative that you return your registration form, Document of Enrollment Form, and check by January 18, 2013 because grade levels are near or at maximum capacity.  Your spot will not be held if your forms are not returned by this date.  Please either mail or personally deliver your forms and check to the school office rather than sending them in with your child due to the importance of the office receiving them by the required date. 

          If your child is graduating and you do not have a new student entering the school, please disregard this packet.  It has been a pleasure having your child/ren at St. Lawrence School, and we wish you all the best in the future.

FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

Review the requirements regarding the $800 commitment to St. Lawrence Church (families belonging to St. Lawrence Parish), and the $150 Gala and Applefest Fundraiser commitments (all families).  Indicate the tuition plan that you prefer.    Then sign and date it, and return it to the school office with the $100 enrollment fee by Friday, January 18, 2013.  (This family fee encompasses all grades.  Note that the entire 2012-2013 tuition including the $150 Gala and Applefest obligations MUST be paid in full in order for your children to begin school next year.

REGISTRATION

            The eligibility date for preschool and kindergarten has been changed by the state to Nov. 1.   Children who will be four after Nov. 1, 2013 will not be eligible for preschool and children who will be five after Nov. 1, 2013 will not be eligible for kindergarten for the 2013/2014 school year.

                ALL NEW STUDENTS APPLYING FOR GRADES 1 – 8 MUST ALSO INCLUDE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE, AN UPDATED IMMUNIZATION FORM, BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE, CURRENT YEAR REPORT CARD AND TEST SCORES, TO COMPLETE THEIR APPLICATION FOR ENROLLMENT.  THIS MATERIAL WILL BE SUBJECT TO REVIEW FOR ADMISSION.

The following information is for families who use the FACTS Tuition Management Co. to pay their tuition:

  1. A “ONE PAYMENT PLAN” ON THE FACTS PROGRAM HAS BEEN ADDEDTHERE WIL BE NO PROCESSING FEE FROM FACTS FOR THIS PAYMENT.
  2. If you used the FACTS Program for the 2012-2013 school year, and your information has not changed, you do not need to do anythingThe school office will insert your tuition amount into your agreement.  If you are using FACTS for the first time you need to register on line as soon as possible. Go to the St. Lawrence Website, click on “ST. LAWRENCE SCHOOL”, then “PARENT INFORMATION”, then “FACTS TUITION PAYMENT”, then “CREATE A FACTS ACCOUNT”.  Complete all information, omitting the student I.D. #.   Your tuition amount will be inserted by the school office. Upon finalization, the FACTS processing fee will be withdrawn electronically within ten days.
  3. The Peace of Mind Policy will be carried over automatically to the 2013-2014 school year unless FACTS is notified otherwise.  Please note that the price is now $14.00 for the year. A missed payment fee for the 2013/2014 school year will be $30.00. As always, if extraordinary circumstances will cause you to miss a scheduled FACTS payment, please contact the school at least five business days before the scheduled payment date.

All new family applications must be accompanied by a baptismal certificate and a birth certificate, along with the above registration form, and the new family additional enrollment form.

New families do not need to fill out the document of enrollment form
New family applications will not be accepted before 7:30 a.m. on January 28th.


 
 

If you are not sending your child/ren to St. Lawrence School next year, please complete the information below and return it to the school office by January 18, 2013 so that we will be aware of available openings in grades KN – 8. Thank you.
