St. Lawrence's youth group, aimed at young people in grades 9 - 12, meets most every Monday during the school year from 7-9:00 p.m. in the "Sanctuary", our youth group room in the Youth Ministry Center.

Heavenly Helpers

-We are not for the weak of heart!
We are ready to stand up and BE Catholic and are open to all who want to join us in the challenge.

We don't sit at desks. We don't crack open text books. We take on tough service projects, tackle the hot-button issues of our lives through the lens of the Church and build community with each other like no place else in your life! There are no cliques! No one is ostracized or squeezed out. All are welcome – and they don't have to be Catholic!

If we look at video gaming we might talk about Scripture and how it says there is a time and place for everything. Yet, can gaming take over our lives? Does it have redeeming social or spiritual value? Is some of what's there NOT Catholic? Are there better ways to spend our time? Can those games be derogatory toward women? Do they glamorize violence? What should we have influencing our lives? You'll be challenged to step up and defend your position and let the halos fall where they may!

GREAT food, fun, friends and faith!
