Motivated by a desire to provide a recognized agency for the accreditation of non-public schools, the Michigan Association of Non-public Schools Board of Directors joined with other states to form the National Federation of State Non-public school Accrediting Association. The Michigan Non-public School accrediting association accreditation is available to any non-public school in the State of Michigan.
The guiding principles for accreditation are that a school is judged, as far as possible, in terms of its own philosophy/mission statement.
The school's Accreditation will be based on a school's ability to demonstrate adherence to certain standards or conditions that provide for quality education.
The standards are conducive to educational growth and are guides for continuous school improvement.
